The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued strict warning on the application of henna, otherwise called \u201cLaali\u201d\/\u201dLale\u201d and appropriate dress code ahead of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to a statement made available via JAMB Bulletin, candidates are warned against applying henna to avoid experiencing biometric verification challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The statement revealed that, henna when applied on the fingers obstructs the smooth due to the used chemicals that damaged the whorls on the candidates fingers, hence making biometric verification and authentication difficult.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
