We award our scholarships for bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s programs at a university or special university of applied sciences in Berlin and Potsdam based on the student\u2019s academic qualifications, personal aptitude, and social needs. In general, all scientific and artistic disciplines can be funded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scholarship Summary<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Host Country: Germany<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Study Abroad:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/scholarshipregion.com\/category\/scholarships\/study-abroad\/europe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Study in Europe<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Category:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/scholarshipregion.com\/category\/scholarships\/undergraduate-scholarships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Undergraduate Scholarships<\/a>&nbsp;|&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/scholarshipregion.com\/category\/scholarships\/postgraduate-scholarships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Postgraduate Scholarships<\/a>&nbsp;|&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/scholarshipregion.com\/category\/scholarships\/postgraduate-scholarships\/masters-scholarships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Masters Scholarships<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eligible Countries: All Countries&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reward: Full Scholarship\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tuition fees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accommodation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u20ac6,600 Annual Stipends<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Travel allowance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scholarship Requirements:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To be&nbsp;considered for the SBW Berlin Scholarships, you must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be between 18 and 30 years old<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be professional or volunteer experience in the non-profit sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be strong intention to work in their country of origin for at least 18 months after graduation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be able to prove a relatively low net income<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have no first-degree family members who reside permanently in Germany<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be able to prove that they have not stayed in Germany for more than 18 months before the application<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have average grades corresponding to a German grade point average of at least 2.0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit application before the start of their university education or fully enrolled in the first, second or max. third semester at a state-recognized university (in Germany or abroad) or application for a master\u2019s degree shortly before or after obtaining a bachelor\u2019s degree<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scholarship Duration and Reward<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The assistance will be provided for a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 48 months,<br>depending on the standard duration of studies in the discipline you have chosen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the duration of the scholarship (max. funding period equals the regular period of study), SBW Berlin covers the necessary living expenses of the scholarship recipients. A full scholarship includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a room in our shared student flats in Berlin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cost-of-living allowance in the amount of \u20ac6,600 per year&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>tuition fees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>possibly also a travel allowance for your journey to Berlin before the start of your studies and for the journey home after you have completed your studies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Required Documents<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>application form (fillable PDF or online form)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>letter of motivation (one or two pages long)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>current curriculum vitae<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>information about the net household income<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>copy of the last school or university certificate that shows the grade point average and a grade overview<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>copy of the highest academic degree (high school diploma or university certificate) that shows the grade point average and a grade overview<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If available, copies of the following documents should also be included:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>qualification for university entrance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>admission to the university in Berlin or Potsdam where you intend to study (or are already<br>studying)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>internationally recognized language certificate for the language in which your studies will be taught<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>all previous work, training, apprenticeship and internship certificates and references<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>all already obtained university certificates and records of achievements (graded and<br>ungraded).
