Company of Nigeria Limited (Operator of the NNPC\/SPDC \/TEPNG\/AGIP Joint Venture) in pursuance of its Social Investment programme in Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This body which aims to promote academic excellence and enhance the employability of young Nigerians, invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerian Students admitted into Full Time academic studies in the 2020\/2021 session, to apply for its University Scholarship Scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Summary<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Host: Shell Petroleum | NNPC<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Category:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/scholarshipregion.com\/category\/scholarships\/undergraduate-scholarships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Undergraduate Scholarships<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eligible Country: Nigeria<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reward: 200,000 Naira<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Details<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This merit-based scholarship is in two categories \u2013 the National Merit Award (NM) and the Areas of Operation Merit Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>National Merit Award (NM) \u2013 Open to all Nigerians<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Areas of Operation Merit Award \u2013 Open to Nigerians who are indigenes of SPDC\u2019s operational areas in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To be considered for the scholarship, you must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be registered FULL TIME undergraduates in an accredited and approved University in Nigeria<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be in 200 Level (as at January&nbsp;2023) or possess proof of admission into Undergraduate programme in the 2020\/2021 academic session<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">from an entity operating in the Oil and Gas Industry<\/a>, National or International.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Note<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Shell DOES NOT DEMAND PAYMENT FROM APPLICANTS.&nbsp; The application is entirely&nbsp;<strong>FREE<\/strong>&nbsp;of charge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shell DOES NOT ASSIGN \u2018Representatives\u2019\/ \u2018Agents\u2019 to assist applicants\u2019 process or&nbsp;JAMB (UTME or D\/E)&nbsp;Admission letter<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>JAMB Result<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Letter of Identification from State (Showing Local Government of Origin)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Scanned copies of letters of identification, (which must be duly stamped and signed) by:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The Community Paramount Ruler; and<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Applicants for the Operational Area Awards are required to provide scanned copies of letters of identification, (which must be duly stamped and signed) by:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The Paramount Ruler of the Community; and<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Chairman of the Community Development Committee or Community Executive Council (CDC or
