DESY is an International Summer Student Program for applicants from all over the globe. This is a Fully Funded Scholarship for International Students in Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The duration of the Internship is 7 weeks, from 18 Jul to 7 Sep 2023. IELTS\/TOEFL test score is not required for the program. Students can learn in a diverse environment and the activities will be full of professional experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Host Country:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Germany<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Host Organisation:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron&nbsp; (DESY)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Program Duration:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The duration of the DESY traineeship 2023 in Germany starts in July and will continue for 7 weeks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Program Dates:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The DEST International Summer Student Program will take place from July 18 July to 07 September.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Financial Support:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1200 euros monthly as a subsistence allowance is granted to everyone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>People coming from Hamburg and its surroundings will be able to avail of the subsistence allowance of 850 euros monthly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Traveling expenses will be reimbursed for all if you had traveled by plane, train, and car. (Check Please find the regulations&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.desy.de\/f\/students\/documents\/Travelreimburse_2022.pdf\">in this document<\/a>.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criteria:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Having completed three years of full-time studies at university in physics, computing or relevant disciplines can apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Having obtained their Bachelor\u2019s degree can apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Having obtained their Bachelor\u2019s degree and currently studying for a Master\u2019s degree can apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Should not have availed of the summer program at DESY before.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Having a good command of English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Having good computing skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Should have EU-Conformed Vaccination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Should be committed to serving the full period of the program at DESY.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Apply?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students have to apply through the official website DESY directly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students first need to identify the offered projects and choose their preferences for online or on-site work projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students residing in Germany can apply for on-site projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students around the world can apply for online projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill in the required fields appropriately and submit the online application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure to provide the supporting documents, which are asked from you during filling up the application form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Selected students will get an email notifying their selection and will be contacted for their suitability for the preferred projects also.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Documents Required:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The following documents should be uploaded in one Pdf file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CV of 1 to 2 pages-comprising personal data, relevant experience, educational background, computing skills, and other relevant required skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University grade certificates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants from EU or non-EEA countries should upload a valid passport in the English language.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two reference letters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deadline:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The application deadline is&nbsp;31 January 2023.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/summerstudents.desy.de\/application\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">APPLY NOW<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/summerstudents.desy.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">OFFICIAL LINK<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Applications are invited to apply for DESY Summer Student Program 2023-24 in Germany.
