Interested candidates will be able to apply for the fully funded Islamic Development Bank Scholarship 2023\/2024 to study for a full-time degree programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bank funds and implements its scholarship programmes as part of its overall efforts to develop the human resources of its member countries and those of the Muslim communities in non-member countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Program Sponsor(s):<\/strong>&nbsp;Islamic Development Bank<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scholarship Type<\/strong>: Full Scholarships<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scholarship to be taken at:&nbsp;<\/strong>Public\/government universities in their own countries<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scholarship Worth:&nbsp;<\/strong>full funding<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Number of Awards:&nbsp;<\/strong>Several<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Study level<\/strong>: Undergraduate and Postgraduate<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nationality:\u00a0<\/strong>IsDB member countries\/least developed countries<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are six scholarship programmes offered by IsDB:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.isdb.org\/scholarships\/undergraduate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Undergraduate<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.isdb.org\/scholarships\/master\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Master\u2019s<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.isdb.org\/scholarships\/phd-and-post-doctoral-research-programme\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PhD and Post-Doctoral Research Programme<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.isdb.org\/scholarships\/isdb-isfd-technical-vocational-education-training-tvet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IsDB-ISFD for Technical Vocational Education &amp; Training (TVET)<\/a>&nbsp;for 21 Least Developed Member Countries (LDMCs): &nbsp;<em>Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad, Comoros, Djibouti, The Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somali, Sudan, Togo, Uganda and Yemen<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.isdb.org\/scholarships\/isdb-isfd-bachelor-degree-programme\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IsDB-ISFD Bachelor studies<\/a>&nbsp;for 21 LDMCs as mentioned in No. 4 above<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.isdb.org\/scholarships\/isdb-twas-programme\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IsDB-The World Academy of Science (TWAS)<\/a>&nbsp;Joint Programme for Capacity Building and Technology Transfer<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Islamic Development Bank Scholarship is targeted at academically meritorious students with strong desire to engage in social services and community development after graduation.&nbsp;<strong><em>Candidates MUST ensure that they meet all the criteria of the programme listed hereunder,<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;<strong><em>failing which the Application will not be considered:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be a citizen of any of the IsDB member countries or Muslim communities in non-member countries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidate from non-member countries must be a Muslim.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have obtained a high school diploma or registered in one of the top 10 public\/government universities in his\/her own country.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have minimum of 70% in his\/her high school final GPA. (Undergraduate scholarship)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have minimum of 70% in his\/her Bachelor studies\u2019 GPA. (Masters Scholarship)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must choose a field of study listed among the approved disciplines of the programme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must provide evidence of language proficiency in university medium of instruction as relevant.&nbsp;<em>The language proficiency must be supported by a document or certificate, e.g., for English, by a recognized language certificate such as TOEFL, IELTS or passed required level test conducted such as by British Council or equivalent system in French or other language).<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must provide certified English or French translation of all documents in case if they are initially in other languages.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must not be in receipt of any other scholarship at the time of application and during study.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be medically fit and willing to undergo medical tests after selection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Additional Eligibility for PhD, Postdoc<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PhD study<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have Master\u2019s degree in one of the fields of study of the programme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have minimum (\u201cVery Good\u201d) academic standing;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preferably have work and\/or research experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a research proposal in one of the fields of study of the programme stating its scientific and development relevance to the community \/ country.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be medically fit and be willing to undergo medical tests after selection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Post-doctoral research<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have PhD degree in one of approved fields of the programme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have minimum (\u201cVery Good\u201d) academic standing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have not less than two (2) years of experience in the field of research.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have a record of publications\/research in the same field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a research proposal in one of the fields of study of the programme stating its scientific and development relevance to the community \/ country.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be medically fit and be willing to undergo medical tests after selection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Procedures<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How-to-Apply<\/strong>: Consistent with the concept of the Programme, the<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>admission is solely the responsibility of the student. Selected students must obtain admission from one of the top 10 public\/government universities in their own countries<strong>.&nbsp;<\/strong>In some cases, the IsDB may seek admission in member countries having agreement with the IsDB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for the Islamic Development Bank Scholarship 2023\/2024.
