Bilkent University aims to inform prospective undergraduate and graduate students about the many outstanding study opportunities at the University. Bilkent University offers admission to applicants who have the necessary qualifications and show promise of scholarly achievement. Each department establishes its own criteria for admission, and departmental listings include more detailed information about these requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- have a minimum of 2.80/4.00 CGPA for BSc graduates or MSC students at the time of application.
- If you are a Turkish citizen resident in Turkey: ALES score is required, <55 (quantitative)
- Otherwise; GRE General Test score is required: 153 (quantitative). However, if you are off by a small margin and you have a strong background, we encourage you to apply.
- TOEFL IBT(at least 87), IELTS (at least 6.5 average and 5.5 from each section) or Bilkent COPE (at least C).
- All nationality are eligible to apply
Benefits:
Financial assistance is provided in the form of a tuition waiver or a tuition waiver plus a monthly stipend. The amount of the stipend is adjusted annually to cover changes in the cost of living.
Required Documents
- Submission of ALES (Akademik Personel ve Lisansüstü Eğitimi Giriş Sınavı/Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam) or GRE scores. GMAT scores are required for graduate programs in Business Administration.)
- Fluency in written and oral English. Please see the websites of each graduate school for the list of accepted tests.
- Official transcripts.
- Recommendations from instructors or others qualified to evaluate academic ability.
