2024 Foursquare National Scholarship
The Foursquare National Scholarship is a testament to the church’s commitment to nurturing talents and providing financial support to undergraduate students across every region of Nigeria.
The Foursquare National Scholarship aims to develop a program that will be implemented to meet the educational needs of students who desire a good education but are impaired by financial difficulties.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant must be indigent with clear verifiable proof of inability to meet educational bills.
- Only students of Federal or State universities, Polytechnics and tertiary institutions are eligible to apply while secondary school applicants must be enrolled in a State-owned institution.
- Students of McPherson University are also eligible to apply.
- Undergraduate applicants must they have valid admission to study in a Federal or State tertiary institution
- Secondary school applicants will be required to provide proof of their school enrolment.
- Undergraduate applicants from 200 level and above must have a minimum of Second class upper with a cumulative CGPA of 3.5/5.0.
- Only applicants in Senior Secondary school (i.e. SS1 -SS3) are eligible to apply and they must have a minimum cumulative percentage of 80% in their previous sessional examinations.
- undergraduate applicant must maintain a minimum of second-class upper division in order to have the scholarship award renewed while successful secondary school applicants must maintain a minimum cumulative percentage of 70%.
- Only undergraduates not older than 27 years and secondary school students not older than 20 years are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Benefits:
The Foursquare National Scholarship will cover the full expenses of your education (tuition, accommodation, living expenses) until you graduate provided you maintain the required CGPA.

- Scholarship motivation letter written by the applicant
- WAEC result (for fresh undergraduates only)
- JAMB and Post JAMB results (for fresh undergraduates only)
- Admission letter (for fresh undergraduates only)
- Result of previous academic session (for current undergraduates)
- Completed online application form
- Birth Certificate
How to Apply?
- Visit the scholarship application webpage using the button below
- Click on ‘Applications’ and select either ‘Fresh Application’ if you are a new applicant or a ‘Scholarship Renewal’ if you are a returning awardee
- Fill and complete the form as appropriate
- Submit your application and attach all required supporting documents.
- Qualified applicants will be contacted for an aptitude test.
- Successful candidates will be invited for oral interviews with an independent panel, with their decisions being final.
- This will be followed by the verification of applicants’ claims and documents.
