2024 Gyeongsang National University Scholarship in Korea
The Gyeongsang National University Scholarship provides international students the opportunity to study in the beautiful and welcoming country of South Korea.
The GNU Scholarship Program is a $27,000 offered for two years to successful applicants during their master’s course in any of the programs offered by the university.
Why Study in South Korea?
South Korea is not only known for its rich history, the country is also known for its advancement in technology, cultural heritage, and welcoming citizens, making it a common destination for tourists and international students.
The Future Global Leaders Program (FGLP) is a scholarship selection process, and those who are selected as FGLP scholarship students must apply separately for admission to graduate programs in May for the Fall 2024.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be of foreign nationality and in good health.
- Korean citizens are also eligible to apply
- Applicant must have completed a Bachelors degree in Korea or its foriegn equivalent
- Applicant must demonstrate Korean or English Language Proficiency
- An applicant overall grade in all undergraduate courses must meet one of the following conditions
- C.G.P.A* 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5, 3.23/5.0 or higher, or * C.G.P.A. : Cumulative Grade Point Average
- Higher than 80% of a percentile converted score or within the top 20% in the class, or
- If the applicant’s grade certificate does not provide a C.G.P.A. or percentile score as mentioned above, an additional document that proves the applicant’s overall grade must be submitted by their home university.
Benefits:
The selected scholars will be granted about 27,000US$ for two years to cover the costs of tuition, accommodation and living stipends during their master’s course in the following programs offered.
