The 2024 University of Newcastle Excellence Scholarships are now open for interested and qualified students willing to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Australia.

The scholarship is an award of $48,000 payable over tuition for four (4) academic years for selected students making the University of Newcastle one of the more affordable options to study in Australia.

Available Scholarships include;

International Excellence Scholarship
Business and Management Excellent Scholarship
Health Excellence Scholarship

Requirements:

Be commencing study in an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate program at the University of Newcastle in 2024 and beyond at an Australian or online campus as indicated in your Letter of Offer.
Be an International full-fee paying student.
Not be the beneficiary of a separate University scholarship unless prior approval for special dispensation has been obtained from the university.
Meet all of the financial obligations of a full-fee paying international student, including the full tuition fee and other expenses for the purpose of obtaining your student visa.

Duration and Reward

The International Excellence Scholarship is valued at $8,000 for each year of study under full-time study load. The maximum value would be AU$32,000 over a full-time 4-year degree.
The Health Excellence Scholarship value ranges from AU$4,000 to AU$12,000 per year for a standard full-time study load (80 units) in an eligible program. The maximum value would be AU$48,000 over a full-time 4-year degree.
The Business and Management Excellence Scholarship value also ranges from AU$4,000 to AU$12,000 per year for a standard full-time study load (80 units) in an eligible program. The maximum value would be AU$48,000 over a full-time 4-year degree.
The benefit of any of the awards will be applied directly to your university tuition fee account as a reduction in fees against the amount of credits initially issued in your Letter of Offer.
