The 2024 Japan Government YLP Scholarship offers a unique opportunity for applicants in public administration, business, law, and healthcare.
The Young Leaders’ Program (YLP) aims to contribute to cultivate future national leaders in Asian and other countries, to contribute to establish friendly relationship among various countries.
The Japan Government YLP Scholarship aims to improve policy planning activities by forming a network among national leaders through deepening their understanding of Japan. The YLP is one of the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Programs.
The MEXT Young Leaders Program targets young professionals in public administration, business, law, and healthcare who are expected to play active roles as future national leaders.
Requirements:
- be citizens of eligible countries.
- be below 40 years old as of the start date of the course.
- meet the English Language proficiency requirements
- have measurable work experience in the field of law, business, healthcare, or public administration.
- Ideal candidates are:
- Public administrators, business managers, and legal professionals with a passion for leadership.
- Individuals with significant work experience in their respective fields.
- Professionals committed to fostering international cooperation and understanding.
Benefits:
- Monthly Allowance: Scholars receive 242,000 JPY per month.
- Educational Fees: Full exemption from tuition, matriculation, and entrance examination fees.
- Travel Costs: Round-trip airfare from your home country to Japan is provided.
