2025 Zeribe Nwosu Foundation Scholarship (upto N100,000)

The Zeribe Nwosu Scholarship is currently accepting applications for her 2025 edition of cash awards given to Nigerian students in universities. The scholarship involves a cash award of ₦125,000 to 20 students to help cover the costs of study in their respective institutions.

Eligibility Criteria:

This scholarship is open to ambitious Nigerian undergraduates currently enrolled in a public Nigerian university.  To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be in your 4th year of undergraduate studies
  • Maintain a strong CGPA of ≥ 3.5 out of 5 or ≥ 2.8 out of 4 for years 1-3

Benefits:

Twenty(20) successful applicants will each receive a ₦125,000 cash award.

Key Dates and Application Process:

  • Application Deadline: April 1st, 2025
  • Interviews: June 15th – July 15th, 2025
  • Award Announcement: August 1st, 2025

  • A personal statement (1 page)
  • CV (1-2 pages)
  • 1 Referee letter
  • Unofficial transcripts (year 1-3)
  • A statement of need (100-200 words)

Review/selection process

After the deadline, all applications will be evaluated by the ZNS review team/volunteers. Each applicant will be scored based on the eligibility criteria, strength of his or her application materials, and the communication skills demonstrated during the interview.

Scores will be allocated as follows:

• Fulfillment of the eligibility criteria (5%)

• Clear attention to detail (5%)

• Personal statement (20%)

• CV and recommendation letter (10%)

• Evidence of academic performance (unofficial transcripts) (25%)

• Statement of need (10%)

• Interview (25%)

* For Innovative Teaching applicants, the teaching and personal statements will be scored separately and averaged to get 20 points

Applicants with the highest total score will receive the award.
