2026 German Bundestag Scholarship For Africans
German Bundestag Scholarship is an opportunity for politically and socially committed young graduates from Southern, East, and West Africa.
If awarded the scholarship, you will get €700 stipend, free accommodation, travel expenses coverage, and health, accident, and liability insurance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Citizenship: From Botswana, Namibia, South Africa (Southern Africa); Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda (East Africa); Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal (West Africa)
- Age: Below 30 at the start of the scholarship on January 1st
- Education: Completed university studies
- Language: Proficient in German (at least B2 level)
- strong interest in political contexts as well as social/political commitment

- Letter of motivation in German with your handwritten signature (maximum two pages);
- Copy of passport or copy ID;
- Degree certificate from the university
- Proof of German Language proficiency
