The names of the primary and secondary schools he attended remain unknown. He earned his first degree in Theatre Art from the University of Ibadan, then he furthered his education by attending a drama school to study Performing Arts in London.
He started acting, and the first movie he starred in, in 1990 was titled “F Opawon.” Gabriel, being an actor, also sings, and he started his music career in Ibadan in a music group in 1997 and later became a backup singer for Phoenix studio.
