NUC Gives Nile University of Nigeria Full Accreditation

Nile University of Nigeria has accreditation for 10 of its academic programmes from the National Universities Commission (NUC). This recognition follows the October/November 2023 national accreditation exercise conducted by the NUC to ensure a minimum academic standard for all programmes taught in Nigerian universities.

The NUC, a statutory body responsible for upholding the quality and integrity of higher education in Nigeria, granted full approval for three postgraduate and seven undergraduate programmes at Nile University of Nigeria.

In a statement released by the Executive Secretary of the NUC, Chris Maiyaki, and signed by the Acting Director of Accreditation, Engr. Abraham Chundusu, the commission indicated that all 10 programmes visited during the exercise received full accreditation status.

The Undergraduate programmes that received full accreditation include:

  • B.Sc. Accounting
  • B.Sc. Human Anatomy
  • B.Sc. Cyber Security
  • B.Eng. Mechatronics Engineering
  • B.Eng. Petroleum and Gas Engineering
  • B.Sc. Architecture
  • B.Sc. Psychology

The Postgraduate programmes that received full accreditation are:

  • M.Sc. Accounting
  • Masters in Accounting and Finance
  • M.Sc. Auditing and Forensic Management
