Eligibility Criteria:

  • The duration of enrollment must exceed 12 months.
  • For Master’s degree applicants, the maximum age limit is 30 years.
  • For PhD degree applicants, the maximum age limit is 35 years.
  • Candidates must demonstrate a passion for serving their home country.
  • Applicants should possess a good understanding of international friendship.
  • Basic proficiency in the Japanese language, sufficient for carrying out everyday conversations, is required.

  • Face photo in jpg or gif format, maximum size 500KB.
  • 2-minute video presenting the research plan, in mp4 or mov format, maximum size 1GB, in Japanese or English, ensuring the applicant’s face is clearly visible.
  • Academic transcripts demonstrating previous academic achievements.
  • Detailed research proposal outlining the intended research project.
  • Recommendation letter(s) from academic or professional referees.
  • Admission letter or letter of acceptance from the Japanese university confirming enrollment in the graduate program starting in September or October 2024.
