FUNAAB Secures NUC Approval for New Academic Programmes
The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to introduce new academic programmes following a successful Resource Verification exercise conducted last year. Expert panels assessed the availability of human and material resources needed to support the proposed programmes, leading to the NUC’s endorsement.
Based on the findings, NUC Executive Secretary, Prof. Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu, has approved the commencement of the following full-time Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes in the 2025/2026 Academic Session:
Undergraduate Programmes
- B.Sc. Wildlife and Eco-Tourism Management
- B.Sc. Forest Resource Management
- B.Sc. Hydrology and Water Resource Management
- B.Sc. Climate Science and Agricultural Meteorology
- B.Sc. Cooperative Studies
- B.Sc. Development Studies
Postgraduate Programmes
- PGD, M.Sc., Ph.D. in Mechatronics Engineering
- PGD, M.Sc., Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship Studies
- Professional Master in Integrated Water Resources Management
