University of Alberta Research Scholarships in Canada 2025
The University of Alberta Research Scholarship offers a fully funded opportunity to domestic and international students to study at the Canadian-based university.
The University of Alberta Masters Scholarship guarantee minimum of $26,400/year for 2 years to help cover the tuition fees and living stipends. Graduate students at the U of A also have access to benefits including a health and dental plans.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold an undergraduate degree in civil or environmental engineering, or in a related field.
- Possess a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4 on the most recent two-years of full-time study.
- Have the ability to demonstrate English language proficiency through previous training or an English language exam as this is the language of instruction at the U of A
Benefits:
- For an international student, the research group will guarantee minimum of $26,400/year for 2 years to help cover the increased tuition paid by international students.
- Students are also eligible for scholarships and awards and can earn extra money by optionally working as a Teaching Assistant.
- Graduate students at the U of A also have access to benefits including a health and dental plan, subsidised access to local transit systems, and support for graduate students who are parents.
