Borno State Scholarship Board (BSSB) aims to provide financial assistance to Borno State indigenes who have gained admission into recognised tertiary institutions in Nigeria for their first year of studies.

Requirements:
The scholarship opportunity is available exclusively to individuals who are indigenes of Borno State and have successfully secured admission into accredited institutions of higher learning within Nigeria. Moreover, these candidates must have completed their first-year registration with the respective educational institution.
- Applicants must be a bonafide indigene of Borno State.
- First-Year Status:Applicants must be in their first year of study at a university (Part I & DE Part II), polytechnic/college (ND HND I), or College of Education (NCE I).
- Registered Student:Applicants must be duly registered students of their respective institutions.
- Required Documents:Applicants must upload a passport photograph (red background), a copy of their school admission letter, and their registration receipt.
Duration and Reward

- Students are offered a bursary payment up to ₦50,000 every academic year until they graduate.
