Qatar Government Scholarships 2025/26 (Fully Funded)
The Qatar Ministry of Education and Higher Education has announced the commencement of registration for the Qatar Government Scholarships 2025/26.
The Qatar Government Scholarships 2025 is a fully funded study opportunity funded by the Government of Qatar for selected candidates to study in top universities in Qatar and abroad.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a valid high school diploma or equivalent
- The top 10 achievers in science, humanities, or specialized tracks are prioritized
- Have acceptance from one of the approved universities
- Commit to academic excellence and comply with follow-up procedures
- Be a Qatari national
Benefits:
Amiri Scholarship (Top 24 Global + 5 Local Universities):
- QAR 8,000 monthly basic scholarship salary
- QAR 12,000 monthly travel allowance
- Two business-class air tickets per year
- QAR 40,000 one-time pre-travel allowance
- Study duration counted toward government service
Medical Abroad Scholarships:
- QAR 8,000 monthly (Years 1–4)
- QAR 10,000 monthly travel allowance (Years 1–4)
- Two economy class tickets per year (Years 1–4)
- QAR 30,000 monthly salary (Year 5+)
- Two business class tickets annually (Year 5+)
- QAR 30,000 one-time pre-travel grant
- Study years count as part of the official service
Allowances for scholarship programs abroad
- Q.R 8,000 monthly: basic scholarship stipend
- Q.R 6,000: monthly allowance as a travel allowance.
- An economy class ticket annually
- Q.R 25,000: Pre-departure preparation, issued once.
Allowances for in-country scholarship programs
- Allowance 1: Q.R 10,000 monthly for medical and educational for disciplines.
- Allowance 2: Q.R 8,000 monthly for engineering
- Allowance 3: Q.R 6,000 monthly for disciplines in applied and health sciences and arts.
- Allowance 4: Q.R 4,000 monthly for professional diploma disciplines.
