Ruth Titilayo Foundation Annual Scholarship for Undergraduates 2026

The Ruth Titilayo Educational Foundation is proud to introduce its scholarship program, designed to support deserving students currently enrolled in Federal Universities across Nigeria. The scholarship is tailored to ease the academic journey of successful applicants by either covering the full cost of their studies or providing a partial but highly valuable contribution to support essential needs such as tuition, books, or living expenses. Beyond financial assistance, this opportunity serves as an investment in the academic potential and future success of young Nigerians, ensuring they can focus on learning, growth, and personal development without the overwhelming burden of financial stress.

Ruth Titilayo Foundation Annual Scholarship Grant

The grant includes the following benefits:

  • Tuition support of up to ₦100,000.
  • Maintenance allowance of up to ₦15,000.
  • Additional allowances; such as internal travel costs related to the course of study, research, or fieldwork may be provided at the discretion of the scholarship committee.

Eligibility Criteria for the Ruth Titilayo Foundation Annual Scholarship (University Applicants)

To be eligible for the Ruth Titilayo Foundation Annual Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Reside in Nigeria.
  • Be under 25 years of age.
  • Be a current student or have been enrolled within the last three years.
  • Possess a minimum GPA of 4.0 on a 5-point scale (or its equivalent on other grading systems).
  • Final-year undergraduates may also apply for the Ruth Titilayo Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship.

Scholarship Criteria for Polytechnic Students

To qualify for the Ruth Titilayo Foundation Polytechnic Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Reside in Nigeria.
  • Be under 25 years of age.
  • Be a current student or have been enrolled within the last three years.
  • Attain a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 5-point scale (or its equivalent on other grading systems).
  • Final-year students are also eligible to apply.

Scholarship Selection Procedure

Candidates will be evaluated:

  • On their academic performance and achievements.
  • Based on the details and supporting information provided in their scholarship application.

Applicants are required to submit a personal statement, their most recent school results, and two reference letters from the tutors listed in their application form. Shortlisting will be based on these documents along with any other relevant information provided. Candidates who are shortlisted will be invited to an online interview, where they will be asked a series of competency-based questions tailored to their current academic level.

The application window will run from 1st October 2025 to 31st October 2025. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted from the 11th November 2025. This will be followed by an interview in December 2025 and scholarship awards to successful candidates
