The Robert Gordon University Vice-Chancellor’s Undergraduate Scholarship is a merit-based funding opportunity designed to support high-achieving international and EU students who wish to pursue an undergraduate degree at Robert Gordon University. The scholarship is open to eligible applicants across all undergraduate programmes offered by the University.

The scholarship covers the full cost of tuition fees for the first year of study only, significantly reducing the financial commitment for successful recipients.

Requirements for the Robert Gordon University Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Have satisfied all admission conditions by the stated deadline, excluding the tuition deposit.
  • Be applying for direct entry into either Year 1 or Year 2 of an undergraduate programme at Robert Gordon University.
  • Hold a valid offer for a full-time, on-campus undergraduate course at RGU.
  • Be classified by the University as an international or European fee-paying student.
  • Be a self-funded student (not sponsored).
  • Be applying for the September 2026 intake.
    • Students who commence studies in January 2026 under a fast-track programme may apply for the scholarship when they progress to their second year in September 2026.
    • Students starting in January 2026 on shorter programmes are not eligible.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to actively engage in extracurricular activities and serve as a student ambassador, promoting the value and experience of studying at Robert Gordon University.
