ABSU Vice Chancellor Set to Build Student Hostel in 3months.
The Vice Chancellor of Abia State University Uturu (ABSU), Prof. Onyemachi M. Ogbulu has promised the contractor handling a ultra modern 300 capacity bed space hostel for the college of Medicine and Health Sciences(CMHS) Aba, that his administration will financially hasten the completion of the project within 3 months.

According to report, the Vice-Chancellor disclosed this during an inspection tour of the hostel project at Aba, explaining that he wants to see the project completed before the next accreditation visit of the National Universities Commission to the College.
Adding that his administration has zero tolerance for abandoning projects. Prof. Ogbulu also commended Okey Technical Ltd for the speed and quality of work done since returning to site.
In response, the Managing Director, Okey Technical Company Ltd, Mr Okey Onyemuwa, thanked the Vice-Chancellor for his initial intervention which enabled them to resume work again on the project and assured that with more financial support as promised, the project which has reached advance stage will be fully completed as directed.
Explaining further, he said the initial 300 projected bed space hostel, is now capable of comfortably accommodating 500 bed spaces because of the expansion of the rooms in the hostel and other facilities the company added to make it standard and very befitting for students of the college.
