ARES Scholarship Program 2023 in Belgium (Fully Funded)
The ARES Scholarship Program 2023 in Belgium offers you the opportunity to study a one-year advanced bachelor’s or master’s degree program or a 2-to-6-month continuing education program within a higher education institution. Furthermore, candidates who are awarded the ARES Scholarship can augment their knowledge by participating in different academic activities under the supervision of top-notch supervisors. The program is open to nationals of developing countries who have professional experience in development-related fields and seek to further develop their skills. There is no application fee for the ARES scholarship. ARES does not charge any fees for its application or selection process.

Eligibility
- Be Under the age of 40 for a Masters Degree program, & 45 for Training Courses
- An Applicant must Be a Citizen of a Developing country. Eligible Countries list can be found HERE
- Candidates Should Have Related Academic Background to apply for a relevant field.
- Passive knowledge of English (reading) is required.
How to Apply?
- Applicants must follow the application process and meet the eligibility requirements to be considered for scholarships.
- Applicants should not have previously attended a French-speaking institution in Belgium in order to be considered for an ARES scholarship.
- First, you will need to create a GIRAF account.
- If you created an account last year that was validated, you can use that account again, and if necessary, reset your password.
- You should submit your application through the GIRAF platform.
- The successful and reserve candidates will be notified via email at the end of the selection process (June 2022).
