ASMAF 2025 Scholarships for Young Nigerian Females

The Ajesola Solarin Majekodunmi Foundation (ASMAF) is now accepting applications for its 2025 scholarship programme, designed to support female Nigerian undergraduates pursuing selected professional courses. The scholarship provides comprehensive support, covering both tuition fees and living expenses, while also offering access to mentoring and skills development opportunities. Interested applicants must carefully review the eligibility requirements and ensure all submissions are completed by the deadline of 12th September 2025. Scholarship Benefit:

The ASMAF 2025 scholarship offers full financial coverage for tuition, accommodation, and upkeep for up to six years at a public Nigerian university. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a female Nigerian from a low-income background.
  • Should be a first-time entrant into tertiary education.
  • Must be admitted or enrolled full-time in a public Nigerian university.
  • Eligible courses include Medicine, Law, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Accountancy, Architecture, or other similar professional programmes.
  • Must demonstrate strong academic performance in previous examinations and show potential for excellence.
  • Should possess a clear drive for leadership, personal growth, and impact.

To Apply:

  • Fill the ASMAF online application form.
  • Upload the needed documents:
  • Proof of university admission (via JAMB).
  • Academic results (GCE, NECO, WASC, or approved equivalents).
  • Post-JAMB success evidence or current university transcript.
  • Provide referees who are not family and know your academic and financial story.

Selection Process:

  • Eligibility screening: Confirm applicants meet all basic requirements.
  • Referee checks: Contact listed referees to verify details and gather insights.
  • Applicant ranking: Score candidates using set factors, course of study, state of origin, and university.
  • Final awards: Offer scholarships based on ranking and available funding.

Award Conditions and Expectations:

  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 throughout your studies.
  • Submit a yearly academic progress report to ASMAF.

  • Remain in your approved course of study, unless granted permission to switch.

Conditions for Scholarship Termination:

The scholarship may be discontinued if a recipient loses eligibility, is withdrawn or expelled from their university, records poor academic performance, provides false information, or fails to submit the required annual progress report. However, in cases where the termination happens in error, the award may be reinstated.
