ASUU, IBBU Chapter, Shun Resumption Directive

The management of the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Lapai, Niger State on Tuesday, August 30, directed its staff to pull out of the ongoing industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

IBBU chapter leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) however shunned the resumption directives as it was totally unacceptable to the union.

Dr. Kudu Dangana, Chairman, ASUU IBBU chapter while speaking to reporters maintained that the ongoing strike has not been suspended and the letter of extension of the strike had already been given to the university management.

Furthermore, he added that “any student that obeys the resumption directives will be wasting his/her money and time or is just going to see the university campus.”
