BINANCE TAKES CRYPTO EDUCATION TO NIGERIAN VARSITIES
Binance, the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, has taken the initiative to host Campus Masterclass Series for Nigerian University Students as it continues its mission to drive crypto adoption and enable greater financial accessibility for Africans.
The Binance Masterclass, first kicked off in January 2020, where it provided Education ranging from crypto trading to careers in the blockchain. Since then, Binance has provided free crypto Education to over 541,000 Africans.
The aim of Binance Campus Masterclass Series is to empower students and expose to them to practical ways to gain financial freedom in a post pandemic world plagued by economic downturn and rising inflation. And as blockchain technology continues to revolutionise economies around the globe, Binance is here to make sure students have access to fundamental resources that will help them be successful in school and beyond.
The series are broken down into seasons and the first season of the series is going to be host as an offline Educational events in “Three Universities” across the nation and they are: Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Federal University of Technology, Minna and Federal University of Lafia, Nasarawa respectively.
The series first kicked off in FUTMinna on February 3, 2022, educating crypto enthusiasts about the opportunities within the crypto space. Over 400 people were in attendance, learning about the fundamentals of blockchain, the Binance ecosystem, trading fundamentals and how to keep their crypto safe and avoid scams.
On February 19, 2022, Binance will be hosting another educational event at FWT Theatre in Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO), and it will be led by Binance Campus Ambassadors. According to Emmanuel Babalola, Director of Binance Africa,

Binance has continued to be at the forefront of crypto education, ensuring crypto enthusiasts are well equipped with all the necessary information they need. And its education series is aimed mainly at increasing crypto literacy in Africa.
