Call for Application: Kiplinger Fellowship Program
If you are a working journalist with at least five years of experience covering “Immigration and Migration”, then this fellowship is for you.
The fellowship is made up of a combination of international and U.S. journalists.

Benefits
- Kiplinger will pay all of your training and lodging for the week.
- They will cover most of your meals and provide a travel stipend to cover the majority of your transportation. You, or your employer, will be responsible for the remaining costs.
Location
- The Kiplinger Fellowship will be held April 14-20 at Ohio University and the Scripps School of Journalism.
Eligibility Criteria
- If you are a print, broadcast or online journalist with five or more years of experience (here or abroad), you are eligible to become a Kiplinger Fellow.
- If you participated in the Kiplinger Fellowship program prior to 2011 (when it changed its focus to social media and digital tools), you may apply.
- Freelance work for established media organizations can definitely be applied to the years of work requirement.
- They give weight to applicants who are currently employed as journalists and can apply what they learn in the fellowship to their work.
- Applicants need to have a command of spoken and written English to benefit from the fellowship.
