The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development is inviting qualified applicants for the 2025 OECD Young Associate Program.

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development Young Associate receives a Monthly base salary is 3 780.34 EUR, exempt of French income tax, plus allowances based on eligibility.

Young Associate will work in the Advisors’ team of ENV Director’s Office, under the supervision of the Counsellor, and support the work of the Director and Deputy Directors, as well as contribute to the team’s efforts to effectively reflect ENV work in the Secretary-General and Deputy Secretary-General engagements.

Requirements:

Ideal Candidate Profile

Academic Background

  • Undergraduate degree in environmental policy, science and management, economics, political science, public policy, or related discipline (graduation date between 1 January 2024 and 1 September 2025). Applications from candidates who already hold or are enrolled in a Master’s, PhD, or equivalent degree will not be considered.
  • Course work in two of the following areas is required: Natural Resources Governance/Management, Environmental Economics, Climate Change Policy and Management, Climate Geopolitics, Biodiversity Management.

Skills

  • A solid understanding of today’s major environmental challenges.
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
  • Solid research, writing, and analytical abilities.

Languages

  • Fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and a knowledge of, or willingness to learn, the other.
