FELLOWSHIP

Call For Applications: YouthxYouth Weavership Fellowship Program 2025

The YxY Weavership is a 10-month capacity-building fellowship for youth community organizers who are “weaving” local and global communities in service of education transformation. This program enables participants to contribute to the creation of life-affirming futures by deepening their skills as community weavers. The Weavership is designed in partnership with the Weaving Lab, a globally renowned community of practice for weavers, founded by some of the world’s leading social entrepreneurs.

The act of weaving is complex: it involves deep self-awareness, developing intergenerational and intercultural relationships, organizing diverse education stakeholders around a common vision, and mobilizing people into action. It involves being and becoming the (eco)systems we wish to see. As a YxY Weaver, you will learn how to weave the self, relationships, communities, ecosystems and movements toward a world where all people and planet can thrive.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Do you see yourself as someone who connects people?
  • Do you believe that relationships hold the key to creating systemic change?
  • Even if you don’t know the word weaving, do you feel like you are creating communities and helping people learn together?

Benefits:

  • You’ll learn to weave the self, relationships, communities, ecosystems and movements, tapping into your capacity to connect people, places and projects. You’ll develop your ability to practice what they call ‘Conscious Activism’. Here are some examples of key themes you can grow in: Dialogue, Sensemaking, Revolutionary Love, Liberatory Learning, Radical Imagination and Prefigurative Politics.

Deadline: February 28, 2025
