Campus France French+Sciences Program 2024

Campus France invites you to discover French+Sciences, a short-term language, scientific, and technological study program. Registration is now open for 2024 sessions.
French+Sciences is a very practical professional training program in which students are involved as future engineers, working within world-class firms and research organizations, in cutting-edge technological sectors.
Designed by Campus France, in partnership with a selection of French Language Centers (FLE), universities, engineering schools and companies, French+Sciences is a short-term language and scientific study program in advanced technological sectors.
French+Sciences is designed for designed for international university students in scientific and technical fields, English speakers, but who may be complete beginners in French. A B2 level is required in English to participate in the program.
The French+Sciences Program offers 3– to 4–week stays organized by FLE Centers under the “FLE Quality” label (label “Qualité FLE”). Sessions are available in several cities throughout France.
Each session focuses on a specific scientific topic: Focus on Sustainable Development (Montpellier), Science and Technology of the Sea (Brest), Micro, nano and smart technologies for Industrial Applications (Besançon), Focus on Transportation and Energy (Rouen), Mountain Science (Chambéry).
Requirements
- Undergraduate (bachelor’s level) students seeking a period of language, scientific, and cultural immersion in France. Language requirements: > In French: beginner (or better) > In English: level B2 required
Session Details
The sessions are an original combination of French language teaching and modules taught in English. French+Sciences program sessions are held primarily in English, with some French learning modules. English-speaking tutors assist students during their stay.
Activities fully conducted in English
- The scientific modules in the afternoons include: visits to companies and laboratories, presentation of engineering training programs, thematic debates etc.
- The cultural activities modules on the weekends include :a program of cultural visits to discover the attractions of the five regions where the program is implemented
Activities in French
- The French language process in the mornings includes: 15 hours of instruction each week in French as a foreign language, enabling students to acquire or improve their oral and written communication skills
