Education Profile of Daniel Etim Effiong
Daniel Etim Effiong, born June 24, 1988 in Jaji, Kaduna State. He is a multi-talented actor, film director, scriptwriter and filmmaker.
In his formative years, he attended St. Mary’s Private School, Lagos Island, Lagos and afterwards advanced for his secondary education at Government College, Ikorodu, Lagos. He thereafter proceeded to the Federal University of Technology, Minna, where he studied and obtained a first degree in chemical engineering.
After a brief working period in the oil and gas industry as an engineer, he decided to switch careers and proceeded to study filmmaking, writing and directing at AFDA Film School in South Africa and later undertook a course at the University of Johannesburg in filmmaking.
He got his first job as a content producer at Ndani TV. After working for a few years, he proceeded to AFDA Johannesburg to get a Bachelor’s degree in Motion Picture Arts.
In 2011, Daniel had his first acting appearance in Goddamit it’s Monday, Nigeria’s first web series. He also acted the role of Folarin in Ndani TV’s Gidi Up.
