Education Profile of Dunsin Oyekan

Dunsin Oyekan was born on the 5th of November, 1984, in Ilorin, to Pastor Gbadebo Oyekan, the General Overseer of the Evangelical Baptist Church. 

Dunsin attended the Airforce Nursery and Primary School, Ilorin for his elementary education before proceeding to Federal Government College (FGC), Ilorin and then Baptist Model High School, Ilorin, for his secondary education. He then headed to the University of Ilorin, where he bagged a degree in Industrial Chemist.

Dunsin started music quite early. He started playing the guitar at the tender age of ten. He was also a member of the choir of his church. During this period, he led processions with his passion for music.  He was invited to perform at concerts and several other Christian gatherings. Dunsin was a one-time Music Director (MD) of the Avalanche of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) in Ilorin, Kwara State.
