Education Profile of Folorunsho Alakija

Chief Folorunsho Alakija born July 15, 1951 in Lagos, Nigeria. She is a Nigerian businesswoman and philanthropist.

She traveled to the United Kingdom at the age of seven for her primary school education at Dinorben School for Girls in Harfodunos Hall in Llangernyw Wales. After her primary school education, she returned to Nigeria to continue her education, she was enrolled at the Muslim high school, in Sagamu Ogun state.

After her secondary school education she went back to United Kingdom where attended pitman’s central college to study for her secretarial studies.

After she finished from Pitman’s central college in London, due to her interest in fashion, she returned back to school to pursue a degree in fashion designing, she enrolled at the American College.

She is currently the group managing director of The Rose of Sharon Group and also serves as executive vice chairman of Famfa Oil Limited.
