Monalisa Chinda born 13 September 1974 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State is a Nigerian actress, film producer, television personality and media personality.
She attended Army Children’s School GRA for Primary and then Archdeacon Crowther Memorial Girl’s School, Elelenwo. Both schools are located in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. She obtained a degree in theatre arts from the University of Port Harcourt.
Monalisa started acting as an undergraduate. Her first major movie was Pregnant Virgin in 1996.
She stormed the industry in 2007 when she rose to stardom and featured in a television soap, Heaven’s Gate. Her role in the project shot her to prominence.
