Oworu attended King’s College, Lagos and the University of Lagos. He graduated from Babcock University in June 2017.

At the age of six, Olumide Owuru made his acting debut in the TV show Everyday People. He’s also well known for playing Tari in the Africa Magic Series episode “The Johnsons.”
