Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike professionally known as Phyno, born on 9 October 1986 in Enugu State. He is an indigenous singer, songwriter, rapper, and actor.

Phyno holds a degree in public administration from the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) in Enugu.

He started profiting from music during his second year at IMT. After relocating to Lagos in 2010 after school, he shifted focus to his career as a rapper using his nickname, Phyno.

He is famous for rapping in Igbo language, making him one of the most influential indigenous rappers of all time in Nigeria. With the incorporation of Pidgin and English, he has reached a larger audience and captivated their attention.
