Divine Ikubor is a Nigerian singer, rapper, songwriter, and stage performer. He is popularly known as Rema. He was born 1st May 2000, and raised in Benin city, Edo state of Nigeria.
He started his music career in churches before he was discovered by D’Prince, the CEO of Jozingworld Records and a younger brother to Don Jazzy, the CEO of Mavins Record.
Rema attended the Ighile group of schools, Edo state where he attained his primary and secondary education.
On January 7, 2023, he made it known on Twitter that he gained admission into the University of Lagos, Nigeria. This is to fulfil his mother’s wish that he should get a degree.
