Shan George was born on the 21st of April, 1970, in Cross River State, Nigeria. She is a Nigerian Actress, Singer, Producer and Director.
After her Primary School she went to Edanafa Secondary Commercial School, Ediba, Cross River, Nigeria. After obtaining her Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSCE), she proceeded to obtain a degree in mass communication from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) in 1996.
Shan joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 1996 and featured in her first movie “Winds of Destiny” in 1997. She rose to fame after featuring in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “Outcast” a movie that brought her to limelight and gave her an award for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the African Movie academy Awards.
