Federal Government National Health Fellows Program 2025 For Nigerians
The Federal Government of Nigeria is calling on interested young citizens to apply for the 2025 National Health Fellows Program.
The Federal Government National Health Fellows Program will last for a period of 12 months and will provide participants with training, fieldwork, and mentorship.
The National Health Fellows Is A Programme Of The Government Of Nigeria, Led Through The Nigeria Health Sector Renewal Investment Initiative SWAp Coordination Office Under The Federal Ministry Of Health And Social Welfare.
The program seeks to comprehensively upgrade existing primary healthcare centers and construct over 8,800 new primary healthcare centers across all local government areas in the country, ensuring accessible and qualitative healthcare delivery and providing new social accountability mechanisms.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be between the ages of 25 and 35.
- Bachelor’s degree (health-related, IT, or social sciences).
- Demonstrable interest/ or Experience in Public health OR health-related NGO and partner organisations OR community projects that demonstrate leadership and initiative.
- Candidates must be available to participate full-time in the fellowship programme.
- Candidates must be an indigene of the state being applied for.
- Candidates must possess smartphones with data capabilities i.e. for WhatsApp, Zoom etc.
- Recommendation from the University Dean OR NYSC place of primary assignment, or a respected organisation demonstrating character and leadership.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and entrepreneurial drive.
