Federal Scholarship Board Bilateral Scholarship 2025
The Federal Government of Nigeria is currently offering full scholarship opportunities for Nigerians to pursue undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees at top institutions in Europe and Asia through the Bilateral Education Awards (BEA).
The Federal Ministry of Education has announced the call for invitation for interested and qualified Nigerians to participate in the 2025/2026 Federal Government Scholarship Awards for BILATERAL EDUCATION AGREEMENT (BEA).
The FSB Bilateral Scholarship is a result of bilateral agreements between the governments of Nigeria and partner countries in Europe and Asia.
Applicants are eligible to apply for undergraduate and graduate programs in the fields of Agriculture, Science, Technology, Management, Engineering, Medicine, Social Sciences, Humanity, Education, and Law.
How To Apply?

- Passport Photograph
- Academic Transcript
- Birth Certificate
- Degree Certificate
- NYSC Certificate
These documents will be uploaded on the portal in JPEG format.
Once you have prepared the documents, you are ready to submit your application.
- Step 1: Visit the Federal Scholarship Board (FSB) application portal.
- Step 2: On the application page, read the information provided and click the green APPLY button.
- Step 3: Create an account by filling out the application form with the correct email, password, first and last names, National Identity Number (NIN), and phone number.
- Step 4: With the email and password you have entered on the previous page, login to the applicant’s dashboard.
On the application portal, do the following to complete the scholarship application.
Step 5: Complete the biodata form with your correct details.
Step 6: Fill out also the parents/Next of kin details (name, email, address, and phone number).
Please ensure to click SAVE after every page.
Step 7: Next are your academic details constituting your institution, CGPA, course studied, and degree awarded.
Step 8: To complete the application, you will be required to upload the documents above in JPE format.
Once you have completed the application, print out the completed biodata form or save it as PDF for future reference.
Important Notes for Applicants
- Candidates applying for the FSB scholarships in Hungary must visit the website: www.stipendiumhungaricum.hu before January 15, 2025.
- All applicants for Russia should visit the Education In Russia website (All documents to be uploaded on the Russian Application portal and must be properly scanned in PDF format).
- Candidates shortlisted for the scholarship will be contacted by the Ministry to submit other original documents.

The FSB Bilateral Scholarship covers the full tuition and provides monthly living stipends for selected candidates.

Undergraduate FSB scholarships are tenable in Russia, Morocco, Hungary, Egypt and Algeria; while Postgraduate studies aretenable in Russia (for those whose first degrees were obtained from Russia), China, Hungary, Serbia, Romania.
Which programs are eligible for FSB Bilateral Scholarship?
Undergraduate level programs include Engineering, Geology, Agriculture, Sciences, Mathematics, Environmental Sciences, Sports, Law, Social Sciences, Biotechnology, Architecture, Medicine (very limited), Pilot Engineering, Neurologist and Postgraduate level (Masters Degree and PhD) are available in all fields.
