FG Ugrades FMC Yola, to Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital.
The Government of President Muhammadu Buhari, has approved the upgrading of the Federal Medical Centre, Yola, to Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, Yola, Adamawa state.
The approval is sequel to the demand by the Indigenes and the Adamawa state Government to upgrade “Federal Medical Centre, Yola to Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, Yola,” in order to enhance the training of medical students and also bolster health care delivery in the state.
President Buhari in his speech congratulated the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his relentless effort in strengthening the healthcare system in the state and also charged him to continue to position the healthcare system for effective service delivery to the country.
