Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must come from a developing or emerging country in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, or Latin America, and currently reside there.
  • Candidates should possess a university degree and relevant professional experience from their home country.
  • Applicants must plan to study for a master’s degree, PhD, or conduct post-doctoral research at a German university.
  • Preference is given to Catholic Christians or those belonging to a Christian denomination. Applicants of other religions may apply if proposed by Catholic partners and committed to interreligious dialogue.
  • Proficiency in German is required, with language courses available for those without prior knowledge.
  • Maximum age of 30 for master’s scholarship applicants and 35 for PhD scholarship applicants.
