Kogi State Commissioner Exposes 20 Illegal Tertiary Institutions.

The Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones has recently revealed that there are presently 20 illegal Tertiary institutions operating in the Ankpa community of the state.

The Commissioner disclosed this while monitoring the accreditation exercise of the Glory Land Institution of Management Studies, Ankpa by the National Board for Technical Education.

According to Hon. Jones: “The government intends to shut down illegal institutions that do not possess the required operating certification.

The operators of the illegal and substandard schools in the State are required to do the needful to avoid being shut down permanently.”
