LAUTECH Set to Resume Lectures.
The Management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has directed all staff and students of the institution to resume on Thursday, May 26, 2022, for the commencement of in-class activities.
The resumption notice was contained in a statement signed by the institution’s Registrar, Dr. Kayode Ogunleye, saying it is for the continuation of the academic activities for the First Semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Session.
Recall that this announce came barely 48-hours after members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) LAUTECH chapter, on Wednesday, May 18, swore not to withdraw from the ongoing industrial action embarked by ASUU until the demands have been met.
The institution, while calling the staff and the students to resume, added that the amended Academic calendar for the semester will soon be made available. Ogunleye further urged the staff and students to abide by this new directive.
