Legendary Singer 2Baba Donates a Music Studio to OAU.

The Legendary singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2baba has recently donated a well equipped recording studio to the music department of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

The artist shared some highlights from the commissioning on his official Instagram handles, where you can see some students chanting “the great Ife Anthem” and singing praises of him.

During the uncovering of the studio, the singer spoke about how he has always wished he had the opportunity to attend a music school. In his words: “I always wished I had music as a course in my days in secondary and tertiary schools. Right now my goal is to build a more recording studio in as many schools as I can and give some students the opportunity to experience what i couldn’t have.

“I want to use this medium to ask the entertainment industry/celebrity friends to do anything they can as well.”

In appreciation of his humble gesture The school in return inducted him as a Fellow Of The School of Music.
