NBTE Approves Five New Departments for Federal Polytechnic Nekede.

National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has approved five new departments from the Department of Mass Communication. The new departments are namely: Film and Multimedia, Broadcasting, Public Relations, Advertising, and Print/Journalism.

The successful unbundling of the Mass Communication Department aptly reflects the passionate drive of the Rector in expanding the curriculum of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede.

The Rector, Engr. Dr M.C. Arimanwa also thoughtfully expanded infrastructure to accommodate the new departments that have eventually become a reality. ogrammes commenced in the foremost institution.

The observers say, the development has come as a result of the Rector been an old student and his drive to add immeasurable value to his alma mater.

Some experts say the Rector is committed to implementing his 14-point goal and 72-point target to the later, hence the significant impetus of development in the institution.
