NDDC Local Masters Scholarship 2025/26 for Nigerians | Fully Funded
NDDC Local Masters Scholarship – The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) offers fully funded Masters Scholarships for Nigerian students from the Niger Delta.
The NDDC Local Masters Postgraduate Scholarship program is to equip Niger Deltans with relevant training and skills for effective participation in the Local Content programme of the Federal Government, as well as compete globally in various professional fields.
Beneficiaries are offered full scholarships that cover the costs of tuition, accommodation, study, and research expenses.
Requirements:
- Be indigenes of the Niger Delta Region.
What are the Niger Delta NDDC States?
The NDDC States includes Ondo, Imo, Delta, Rivers, Edo, Akwa Ibom, Abia, Cross River, and Bayelsa states
- Be not older than forty (40) years of age.
- Possess a First Class, Second Class Upper, or Lower Bachelor’s Degree.
- Alternatively, possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Upper Credit and a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD).
Benefits:
- The NDDC scholarship program covers full tuition fees and provides allowances for living expenses, accommodation, and travel for selected candidates.
- The scholarship aims to support Niger Delta youth in acquiring advanced skills and knowledge relevant to regional and national development.

The NDDC Scholarship Scheme is for suitably qualified applicants with relevant Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree(s) from recognized universities in the following professional disciplines:
- Engineering
- Agricultural Science
- Law
- Medical Sciences
- Geosciences
- Environmental Sciences
- Management sciences
- ICT
- Education
- Humanities

- Application must be made on-line at the Commission’s website: (www.nddc.gov.ng) with the following attachments
- Successfully complete application form will be assigned a registration number automatically.
- Print the hard copy of the on-line generated acknowledgement for ease of reference.
- All shortlisted applicants will be posted on NDDC website (www.nddc.gov.ng)
