Eligibility Criteria:
- Nigerian citizenship
- Enrollment in a Nigerian tertiary institution (university or college)
- Undergraduate student status (200 level and above)
- Only students enrolled in their penultimate year at an NHEF Partner University may apply. Students enrolled in their penultimate year are third-year undergraduates of a 4-year degree program or fourth-year undergraduates of a 5-year degree program. NHEF will verify enrollment of each contestant with the University Registrar.

How to Apply?
- Visit NHEF Application Portal: Log on to the NHEF application portal at https://portal.thenhef.org/.
- Create an Account: Register by creating an account on the portal. Enter your first and last name, email address, phone number, and password.
- Verify Email Address: After registering, verify your email address by checking the inbox of the email address you registered with. Click the link or copy the URL to your internet browser to validate your account.
- Log In: Once your account has been validated, log in using the email address and password you created.
- Access Application: Proceed to the application by clicking on the APPLY tab from the dashboard.
- Complete Application Form: Complete all the bio-data information and the program essay questions on the application page.
- Upload Supporting Documents: Be prepared to upload the following supporting documents: a one-page Curriculum Vitae (CV), a one-page Cover Letter, and the most recent Statement of Result (All in PDF format).
- Review and Submit: Review your application responses thoroughly and submit your application.
Note: It’s advisable to have your responses to the application questions prepared in a separate document beforehand (e.g., Word Document) for easier copying and pasting into the application answer box. The application cannot be saved, so it must be filled and submitted at once.
