NUC Grants Accreditation to Thomas Adewumi University for MBBS and Radiography

Thomas Adewumi University is proud to announce that we have officially received NUC approval to launch two new flagship medical programmes: the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and B.Sc. Radiography and Radiation Science.

This landmark approval—the first of its kind in Kwara South—follows a successful and rigorous resource verification exercise conducted by the NUC in April 2025, confirming TAU’s full readiness to deliver world-class medical education.

With state-of-the-art facilities such as our Gross Anatomy Laboratory and the TAU Teaching Hospital, we are well-positioned to train and empower the next generation of medical professionals.
