Osun State University Disclaimer Notice on Scholarships
The Management of Osun State University has refuted the rumour making in regards to the school giving out scholarship to student who intend to study Arabic/Islamic studies at the institution. The Notice which was signed by the Institutions Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ademola Adesoji urged the public to disregard any such rumour.
The notice reads…
“The attention of the Osun State University Management has been drawn to a post being circulated on social media about a scholarship for students who wish to study Arabic/Islamic courses at the University.
“The University Management hereby dissociates itself from this post and warns prospective students, parents and other stakeholders from believing such statement and falling into the hands of scammers.
“We would like to put the record straight that no Department of the University is authorized to admit students as all undergraduate admissions are centrally processed by the University and through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board. As such, all admissions not formally confirmed by the University Registrar and JAMB are null and void.
“All prospective students and stakeholders are therefore urged to contact us through the authorized phone numbers displayed on the University website, visit our main administrative blocks in our various campuses or send us messages via all the authentic University social media handles for any inquiries about the University.
“We would like to re-assure our stakeholders that UNIOSUN has no bias toward any religion, or other sentiments.
“We are strongly committed to the production of entrepreneurial graduates capable of impacting on their environment while being globally competitive. As an institution, we have committed ourselves to creating a unique institution that is committed to the pursuit of academic innovation, skill-based training and a tradition of excellence in teaching, research and community service.
